Tower Grove Park Engagement Session
I was so grateful for the chance to spend some time with Katie and Adam at Tower Grove Park, getting to know them a little better prior to their Spring 2015 wedding at The Missouri Botanical Garden and The Jewel Box. Katie and Adam, you guys are awesome! Thank you for a fun session and we can’t wait for May!
Hooray! Spring has finally arrived and we’re so happy to have some sun and warmth for our shoots. I recently spent the evening with Stephanie and Nik in Forest Park, and I love that even though the park was PACKED that day, it’s such a sprawling space that in the photographs it looks like we had the place to ourselves! We look forward to being part of Stephanie and Nik’s wedding day at The Chase Park Plaza this fall.
These two are awesome – Such a joyful couple! I’m so glad that we got lucky with some gorgeous mid-winter light (and bearable temperatures) for their engagement session. It *almost* looks like autumn, which is perfect since they will be getting married at Moulin Events this fall. We can’t wait – Danielle and Pat exude happiness so we know it’s going to be a fun (and sparkly!) day.
Just after Christmas, we got to photograph the wedding of my husband’s great friend Dan and his love Michaela. While we’re fond of all our couples, naturally it’s especially meaningful to be part of the weddings of friends. We got lucky with some warm weather (relatively speaking, of course – We’re still adjusting to not having LA temperatures while shooting!), worked with some great vendors, and to top it off, I got to spend the reception being a guest! Many thanks to Lauren Winchester for photographing that part of the day with April so that I could have some wine and dance with my hubby. Kayla and Dan (and darling Charlotte), we love you! XOXO.
