Engagement session at the Viceroy Hotel and Santa Monica Beach
Nikki & Tamin wanted their engagement session to be a fun and relaxing time that showed their sweet & playful relationship. We had such a blast with them at the Viceroy Hotel and down on the beach in Santa Monica. We can’t wait to do it all over again in just a few short weeks at their Cambridge wedding with Gracie Lou Events! Here are some of our favorite images from the afternoon:
If you can’t tell by now, we absolutely LOVE it when our clients come up with new & creative ideas for where they’d like to shoot their engagement sessions. Rachel & David wanted to show us around some of their favorite spots in Santa Monica and we’re so glad that they did! The decor at both Oysterette and the Shangri La Hotel were very cool and the gray day actually gave us some amazing soft light. But it was Rachel & David’s obvious joy & sweetness with each other that really knocked this one out of the park. That and Rachel’s rockin’ legs!

Okay, prepare yourselves…this is one of the coolest falling in love stories ever! Lady Vee and Mr. M met riding the Big Blue Bus to work. At first they just noticed each other, sneaking glances over the tops of their books. Then Lady Vee started noticing that she’d take a second look in the mirror before leaving her apartment in the morning; Mr. M would hurry up & rush out of the house to make sure didn’t miss her bus. Once even they ended up on different buses but saw each other pass by in traffic. Come on, we cannot make stuff up that is this romantic! Once Lady Vee and Mr. M started talking…okay, we’ll be honest, it wasn’t perfect right away! But, ultimately, they’ve fallen joyfully in love and are just the sweetest! So, OF COURSE we had to photograph their e-session on the Big Blue Bus!
