Remember when I got to photograph Ashlee and Jon’s engagement (like, their *actual* down-on-one-knee-engagement!) earlier this summer? Well, a couple of weeks ago they got married in Hawaii and swung by Los Angeles on their way home so I could photograph them in their wedding attire. Such fun! We really can’t say enough about how nice it is to do some wedding portraits *after* the big day, when there are no time constraints to worry about, just lots of newlywed bliss.
Ash and Jon, it’s been such an honor to be part of this special time in your lives – Thank you!
And thank you to our dear Megan Fickling of La Partie Events for creating a beautiful bouquet and boutonniere for us at the last minute!
Aiko and Keegan had an absolutely gorgeous day for their yacht wedding. Perfectly lovely blue sky, and the whole event went off without a hitch. We’ve kept them waiting a while to see a sneak peek (wedding season in full swing!) so we’ll get right to the goods. Congratulations, you two!
Oh, did we love this wedding! Not only are Kayla and Anthony just a match-made-in-heaven couple, but we got to work with some of our favorite vendors. We always know that Kim of Art with Nature’s flowers are going to be gorgeous, and that Hank and Cameron from Rustic Red are going to be a joy to shoot alongside. All the great people, mixed with Kayla’s spot-on vision for a sunny, intimate, french-inspired wedding (They were engaged in Paris! Ahh!), made for a really fun day.

We had only met Rebecca before her & Austin’s engagement session but she kept telling us “You’re gonna love him, he’s the best!” and you know what, Rebecca…you both are! Rebecca & Austin are the perfect pair and we had such a blast during their session at one of their favorite places, the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, which turned out to be the perfect compliment to their eco-chic wedding at the Skirball Cultural Center this September. We loved the rustic outdoors combined with the modern glass & concrete. And the intense stairway that runs from the bottom to the very top of the hill explains exactly how Rebecca got those legs of hers! Here are some of our favorite images from the afternoon:
Rebecca & Austin, Thanks for introducing us to such a great new location! We can’t wait for September!
