Oh my, do we love this wedding! Our biggest hope for our clients is always that they will put together a wedding that is truly reflective of who they are and what makes them happy. Robin and Sean’s day was just that, 100%. Originally, they wanted to go to Yosemite and get married on a frozen lake, just the two of them (dreamy!). When their families put the kibosh on that idea, they decided instead to have a wonderfully intimate celebration in the back yard of some close friends. This day was a true labor of love. Robin made everything by hand (with some help from family members. Her dad made the napkins you see below!), including the ceremony and reception back drops, the invitations, and even quilts for all the guests to take home as gifts! Best wedding favor EVER!
Robin and Sean, it was such a complete delight to be part of your wedding day! We’re glad you didn’t elope after all!
I guess you could say that Fawn pretty much had us at “hello.” We were over the moon when she showed up to our initial meeting in her cute vintage yellow dress, talking of her plans for her afternoon garden wedding to the ultra-cool Brian McCool, complete with vintage table cloths, chalkboards, cute little felt birdies and fabric bunting. (We got a preview of some of her DIY projects at their engagement session.) Fawn and the girls all wore vintage and almost every single adorable detail was crafted or collected by Fawn or one of her fabulous friends. She & Brian even got a screen printing lesson at Grow Your Own Media where they got their tote bag party favors printed! And they had one of the sweetest invitations we’ve ever seen, designed by Le French Circus, featuring an illustrated version of Fawn & Brian in their wedding clothes including their bicycles and their kitties sitting in the tree behind them. J’adore!
Here are some of our favorite images from Fawn & Brian’s super fun and colorful day:
Oh, did we love this wedding! Not only are Kayla and Anthony just a match-made-in-heaven couple, but we got to work with some of our favorite vendors. We always know that Kim of Art with Nature’s flowers are going to be gorgeous, and that Hank and Cameron from Rustic Red are going to be a joy to shoot alongside. All the great people, mixed with Kayla’s spot-on vision for a sunny, intimate, french-inspired wedding (They were engaged in Paris! Ahh!), made for a really fun day.
