I love you, Porter Pie!
To keep up with the baby theme we’ve got going today, here are a few of my sweet nephew Porter when he was about a week old. He’s seven weeks old now, and already looks so different. Babies grow entirely too fast, which is why it’s so important to document those first days when they’re still itty bitty.
I know I am biased, but I think he’s pretty adorable.
One unexpected, but completely wonderful, bonus to our job as wedding photographers has been watching our former brides and grooms grow their families. Rachel and Jon had a beautiful and super romantic wedding in January of 2008, and we were overjoyed to receive a note from them this summer letting us know that their baby girl was on her way! Now Isabella is here, and we got to meet her at the very park where we photographed her mom and dad on their wedding day.
Rachel and Jon, thank you so much for continuing to have us as part of your life together!
We adore Andrea and Kevin! We knew from our first meeting with them to talk about photography for their wedding that they are our ideal couple – Super sweet, enthusiastic, and very trusting of our artistic vision. We’re so excited for their wedding at The Muckenthaler Mansion at the end of the year!
Andrea and Kevin wanted an urban feel for their engagement photos, so we headed to LACMA for their session.
We were thrilled to find this cool (if quite dirty) couch in an alley.
I think there’s something so romantic about this one.
Andrea and Kevin, we can’t wait for December!
On July 27th, my little sister Corinn (you may remember her wedding last June) and my brother- in- law Nick brought my wee nephew into the world! Before I show off some pictures of new most favorite person, I wanted to share some I took of my sis and Nick when I was home a month before the baby was born.
And of course we had to get some with the dad-to-be!
With their first baby, Leo.
Stay tuned for pictures of the sweet boy himself!
