We’ve been keeping the wonderful Laura and Daniel waiting a bit (wedding season has put us so far behind in blogging – eek!) for the sneak peek of their Sunset Restaurant wedding, so we’ll be short on words and long on photos. We have been looking forward to Nicole & Mark’s wedding at The Ritz for what seems like AGES! and we’re thrilled to finally be able to share it with all of you. Nicole & Mark both work in the event design industry, so we knew their wedding would be amazing…but we had no idea! Not only was the decor so elegant & lovely, but Nicole & Mark made sure to throw a spectacular party to entertain all their friends and family. From the Champagne Angel pouring the bubbly from a ring the air to the rockin’ band to the Bubble Girls floating in the pool, there was absolutely no end to the fun! And, of course, it was the sweetness & laughter shared between Nicole and Mark that really made the day extra special. Thanks to Jeannie at Details, Details for coordinating this gorgeous event and to the awesome Chelsea Elizabeth for helping us capture all the details & performers throughout the day.

Congratulations, Nicole & Mark! So. Much. FUN!!!
Rachel & David were married at one of our favorite locations, Café Pinot in downtown LA, on one of the hottest, but most joyful, days of the summer so far. For Rachel & David it was all about the celebration of their love and they got the party started straight out of the gate. After a quick portrait session at the new downtown Ritz-Carlton (and a quick stop in a pigeon infested alley…eek, but totally worth it!), the day for Rachel, David and their guests actually started with the cocktail hour. Genius! Rachel & David were able to connect with their guests right from the start, cool down with a chilled drink, exchange their emotional vows and party into the night. Rachel was stunning in not one, but TWO amazing dresses (starting with a slinky Nicole Miller and surprising David as she walked down the aisle in a sparkly Reem Acra) and David couldn’t take his eyes off of her all night. These two are smitten with one another and their love just glows. We couldn’t wipe the smiles off of our own faces!

Evan went to school in Orange, worked in Orange and lives in Orange…so it was perfect that we photographed Gilda & Evan in the cute little downtown square of Orange before he packs up to move out of town so that he can live with his lovely bride. Gilda wore an adorable dress in the perfect shade of bright blue that we kept finding everywhere, popping up on signs & awnings & doors. A little bit of blue and a little bit of Orange, made for a sweet session!
