April and I both love the rain, so there were certainly no tears shed on our part when the forecast called for showers the day of Serena and Wendall’s engagement session at The Boston Public Library. Thankfully, Serena and Wendall were game as well, and armed with their colorful umbrellas, we had fun with the challenge of staying as warm and dry as possible while still making some great images for them. Even though we were all drenched and freezing by the end, it was still SUPER fun. Embrace the rain, friends! Look how romantic it is! (All that having been said, we’re looking forward to lots of gorgeous sun at their wedding in MEXICO this fall! Whoop!)
For Jennifer & Raymond’s engagement session we just wandered the gorgeous streets of their South End neighborhood. Each turn of the corner was more pretty than the last and I think we ended up covering several miles before the sun decided that the session was over. It was so fun to get to know Jennifer & Raymond as we toured their local stomping ground and we can’t wait to explore Puerto Rico together in July for their wedding at the W Hotel on Vieques Island!
Jennie was one of the first brides who booked us for 2012, months ago, so it was great to see her again (and meet Yair!) at their Will Rogers State Park engagement shoot. These two were troopers, hiking up and around and into the prickly grass, all in a quest for lovely light. We think it was worth it!
Yair and Jennie will be getting married this fall at the super romantic Bel-Air Bay Club!
It had been AGES since we first met with Gina & Sean and we were so excited to see them again for their engagement session at Temescal Gateway Park. Since their wedding is going to be in downtown Los Angeles at Cafe Pinot, we thought it would be fun to do something totally different & rustic for their e-sess. Gina & Sean are just the sweetest and we found some pockets of light that were pretty awesome too! Here are some of our faves:
