North End Engagement Portraits, Boston
We were teasing Laura & Jason about being the ultimate multi-taskers – we pretty much picked them up from work and walked them home over the course of their engagement session! It was a beautiful day and Laura & Jason couldn’t be sweeter. We’re so looking forward to their wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel next month!
We knew this day would be pretty because Katie Saeger and her team were in charge of design. And we knew it would be fun because Katie and Adam are so easy to be around. These two were thrown a few loops during their wedding planning, and even on the day of (we’ve had SUCH a rainy summer in St. Louis so far… need I say more?) but they handled it all with such grace and good spirits (We’ve rarely had more fun during bridal prep because Katie and her bridesmaids – who are amazing singers – had a playlist full of showtunes. No complaints from these photographers!). Add in the most perfect flowers by Tina Barrera, pretty paper goodies by Livia Paul and well…happy campers, rain and all.

We adore photographing the great outdoors almost as much as we love photographing people in love so, for us, when we get to photograph people in love in the great outdoors…there’s really nothing better. And after this record breaking winter we had here in New England, we are so excited to finally get outside!

As inspiration, we put together a little shoot at The Mount in the Berkshires, one of our most favorite indoor/outdoor venues on the planet. With the fog that settled in around Aldrich Mansion, Charlotte & Archie’s wedding had a dramatic, Bronte-esque atmosphere outside and tons of romantic charm inside. The Flowers By Semia were amazing, of course, and the day just couldn’t have been sweeter all around. Literally…Charlotte & Archie had over 15 different cakes and pies for dessert!
